The Cleveland Clinic Expands Its Services across the World via the Net

The Cleveland Clinic, is a very reputed hospital in the US it has launched its online service at the Arab Health 2006. //

The online service extends the Clinic's services to the physicians and the patients across the Middle East. Middle-East has many a number of excellent doctors but often patients go in for other doctors for a second opinion.

To avoid this situation the Cleveland Clinic has come with this service to the patients with life-threatening and life-altering diagnoses and help them assess their condition with the medical options provided by Cleveland Clinic physicians in the United States via the Internet.

Dr. Delos Cosgrove, CEO and President of The Cleveland Clinic said that it reduces the strain and stress experienced by the patients when they have to visit the doctor personally. All the information is processed and fulfilled according to the high standards set by The Cleveland Clinic.

After the inauguration of the e-Cleveland Clinic, patients across the world can contact the clinic regarding second opinions for more than 600 life-threatening or life-altering diagnoses. The second opinions are provided by Cleveland Clinic physicians who specialize in each diagnosis. The patients can then decide of which treatment choice they prefer. This service is quick and the information reaches the patient within five to seven working days.

The patient has to register and the process takes between 30-45 minutes which is a very short time when compared to the time spent in waiting for an appointment. The patient is expected to submit all the required information to the specialist at the clinic.

This creates a permanent record for the patient but does not compromise on the level of privacy, quality and service offered to those patients who travel to The Cleveland Clinic directly. A registered nurse serves as a mediator between the patients and the staff member at The Cleveland Clinic at all times. Pat
