Teens And Children Are More Influenced By Hi-Tech Gadgets

BDA’s (British Dietetic Association) recent survey on 3,000 school students finds, they are watching TV, computers, and playing video games for about two-and-a-half months every year//.

Eating in front of the TV, will put them to skip their breakfast. Hi-tech gadgets nowadays rules over the youngsters and shape them to spend more time on it.

The poll found that TV was found to be the most popular screen activity, and so teens spend more time i.e. two hours a day in watching TV. Screen time also includes homework on the system.

Due to the growth of this wrong culture among school children, there is lack of good eating habits and exercise.

Among British teenagers one third eat their meal on their lap in front of the TV, while one fifth skip their breakfast and 10 per cent were found to eat nothing.

Rather than spending time on TV, Dr Phillips says teenagers can spend usefully with school and college work, part-time jobs and socializing activities.

There forms a need among children to follow healthy habits like basic exercise, eating regular meals and healthy habits .
