Severe stenosis may denote risk for secondary strokes

Researchers from Pennsylvania school of medicine have found that patients who had stroke and diagnosed in head of severe stenosis or narrowed arteries in head are in the risk of developing a subsequent stroke. // The result of the study conducted by Professor Scott Kasner and researchers is to be published in the Journal Circulation.

This new diagnostic tool may help in early detection of second stroke and it would be very helpful for patients who had stroke and this follow up in stroke patients with yearly testing for stenosis can diagnose the risk of developing second stroke and may help in providing better and intensive stroke treatment to these patients.
