Say no to detox tablets

Scientists from the Sense About Science organization reveal that the detox tablets taken after the Christmas bash is not necessary. The body // has the capacity to take what is essential and expel the harmful substances. Some of the substances that are ingested are not harmful and the body automatically recuperates.

The detox industry that includes everything from diet, tablets and drinks that suggests the flushing out of the toxins from our body. The turnover of such industry will be in millions of dollars.

But the scientists tell that it is just an eyewash by the industries and the body only needs clean water (for rehydration) fresh air and sleep (rejuvenation).

The body has its own mechanism of detoxification and it does not need any supplements from outside to facilitate in the detoxification process.

The different parts of the body play their role in the detoxification process. The gut checks entry of bacteria and other harmful toxins. The liver converts complex chemical substances into simpler ones, which is directed to the kidneys for excretion.

Scientists stated that the entire detox package including the various juices, herbal extracts, socks, body wraps, special food, oxygenated water etc are not effective when compared to the natural techniques.

Money is being wasted on all these detox products and it results in a total chaos in understanding the functioning of our body.

In conclusion the research suggests that these detox products do nothing extra than what our body is capable of doing.
