SARS reaches Russian Federation

A Russian health official said their country has its first known case of SARS. A man in the town on border with chin have shown signs of SARS virus. Health officials sent sent lab samples to Moscow to determine whether he has the virus. However the health ministry said analysis had not yet confirmed the diagnosis. Russian aviation officials have ordered airlines and cargo carriers on Thursday to suspend reservations on flights to mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, in connection with concerns about the spread of SARS.
