Rural Health Mission Appointments To Be Cancelled

The National Rural Health Mission is having stating trouble and is not yet launched because the new government run by Nitish Kumar is not issuing // appointment letters to the 114consultants that were appointed by the previous government.

In developing the rural health facilities the Rural Health Mission launched a project, which said that each district should be sent a team, consisting of members a chartered accountant, an MBA and a computer graduate.

The main work assigned to the team is the management of funds at the district level. All the other states that had to fill in these posts have completed their work except for the state of Bihar. The 38 districts in Bihar have to be filled with these 114 members chosen by the previous government.

But the senior health minister said that previous governments in Bihar and Madhya pradesh have asked for reservations in the appointments. The reservations were also made keeping in mind about the demands.

Since then the government had changed and the present government issued no appointment letters. It has been three months and now the new government has asked for the reappointments of these consultants. They have requested the center about the cancellation of the appointments and conducting the interviews again.
