An information delegate of British Red Cross (Indonesia), Mark Snelling, explains about relief operations in earthquake tore areas of southern regions of Java island//.

Red Cross started distributing medicine, water, food, blankets, hygiene kit along with other agencies.
A team from British Red Cross logistics came and they worked in coordination with others in dealing the incoming flights of relief goods as well as finding extra warehousing to store the needed materials.
Indonesian Red Cross volunteers, international staff of doctors, nurses, relief experts, water engineers, logisticians and IT specialists, and uncountable numbers of volunteers reached the quake-hit area for relief work.
