Nanoparticles called semiconductor quantum dots have great potentials in the fields of medicine and biology. The distinctive optical and electronic properties of Quantum Dots (QDs) prove to be useful in advanced therapies like detection and destruction of cancer cells. //

A complete review of the latest literature and studies on Quantum Dots has been recently released on the nanotechnology website AzoNano.
