Products Removed From Shelves Due To Aflatoxin

In US Chocolates and snack products were removed from the shops after experts confirmed that they had high amounts of aflatoxin in them. Aflatoxin B1 is normally present// in moulds but in high amounts they result in cancer.

Three brands of snacks are being recalled from shops due to the discovery of potentially cancer-causing toxins in rice flour are Quaker Seasons Caribbean Chicken, Sainsbury's Chocolate and Toffee Crispie Bites and Smith's Bacon Fries. But the FDA has said that only specific batches were contaminated. Experts also say that there is very less risk from eating small amounts of aflatoxin.
