These cancers; squamous cell carcinomas(SCC), are seen in the head and neck area. Charis Eng of the Genomic Medicine Institute at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and colleagues hope their research published in JAMA will help identify gene biomarkers which can give a clinical outcome as well as help treat the disease.
