Prince Harry Launches AIDS Charity In Memory Of Princess Diana
The Buckingham palace stated that Prince Harry of Britain has launched an AIDS charity for the children in Africa in memory of his late mother, Princess Diana//.
The charity's aim is to help children orphaned by AIDS in Lesotho, which Harry visited two years ago.
He was there again Friday for the launch of the charity, which is called "Sentebale", meaning "Forget me not".
The 21-year-old prince told the BBC that he wanted to help the stricken children of Lesotho and believed that his mother would be "very happy" at his initiative.
The name he has given the charity is a poignant tribute to Princess Diana, killed in a car crash in Paris nearly nine years ago.
Prince Harry completed his officer's training earlier this month and has joined a British army regiment that is likely to be deployed to conflict regions, including Iraq.
