Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Flags Off Public Health Foundation of India

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has announced the set-up of a public Health foundation of India, which will remedy the imbalances in the provision of health care services in the country. // This will be a public-private initiative that will redress the inequalities in financial management of resources and help in the efficient distribution of specializations in health care services.

The Public Health Foundation of India will endeavor to institute five world-class public health institutions in different parts of the country, that will not only look into clinical management but will also address them in a social and economic context.
