Pete Doherty Set for Another Drug Trial

Singer/songwriter Pete Doherty might be looking at time behind bars when he faces a court on Tuesday, July 3.

The junkie rocker was caught with drugs in early May after the cops stopped his Jaguar in Kensington, West London.

He was even locked up overnight for having crack cocaine and cannabis. He was later released on bail for a month.

New drug and motoring offences have now been added to Doherty's charges, and he is now set to appear at West London Magistrates to face trial, the Mirror reports.

The troubled singer has been arrested several times due to his drug addictions and has repeatedly sought treatment.

During a September court hearing he was warned that he would be sent to jail if he continued taking drugs.

Earlier, the 'Babyshambles' singer was warned in February, that he might face jail if caught driving illegally again after admitting motoring charges.

In 2005 he spent five days in Pentonville jail on remand in 2005 before blackmail and robbery charges were dropped against him.

He was also jailed in 2003 for burgling an ex-bandmate's flat.
