Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals Warns Of Further Job Losses

The crisis of loss of jobs on the NHS worsened today after Oxford Radcliffe Hospitals said that it plans to offer services that only fit into its budget.// The Trust operates four hospitals in Oxford and Banbury.

It said that compulsory job losses cannot be ruled out although it currently has 600 vacancies. Campaign group Health Emergency said that as of now 15,000 jobs had been lost in the health sector and this number could only double by the end of the year.

"This announcement nails the Government lie that the NHS crisis is restricted to just a few hospitals," said head of campaigns Geoff Martin.
