Outpatient Cancer Care Impressive in British Columbia

As per the recent oncology survey conducted in British Columbia, the cancer care provided to the outpatients has been highly lauded//. This survey was conducted among 7000 cancer patients by the ministry of health.

The quality of overall care has been appreciated by 97.1% of the people and more than ninety percent of the respondents were happy that they were not made to wait for a longer time for radiation treatments.

However when it came to emotional support the rating decreased to 53%. George Abbott, minister for health said that they work in this area for betterment.

The report for last year’s survey was released by the Cancer Advocacy Coalition of Canada which indicated that quality of cancer treatment in BC is very good. They also said that the money per capita on cancer control has been well spent.
