A research in the United Kingdom by Dr Foster and his team reported that by 2031 there will be an increase in the number of old people, increase in the requirement of health care facilities for them. //

Statistics show us that UK older generation is pressurizing the National Health Sector (NHS).There is an increased rate of Coronary Heart Diseases (CHD), heart attacks and other heart related problems.

There is a calculated increase of 53% of people in the age group of 65 and above in the next 30 years. The expenditure on the treatment facilities for all the heart related problems are also on the rise.

Data at the health care sector expects that by 2031 there will be a 44% increase in the Coronary Heart Diseases (CHD), 54% increase in heart attacks and 46% increase in other heart related problems with an average increase of admissions to the hospitals regarding these problems will be around 42%.

There is also an alarm for an increase in the need for statins which the doctors prescribe for the heart patients to reduce cholesterol. But as of now this drug is the sole constituent in the National Health Sector (NHS) budget and they expect it to rise further.

The cost of the other medical facilities like the operative procedures, various tests and other drugs will shoot up. There will also be an increase in the need for nurses, doctors especially cardiologist and other theatre assistants.

A end could be put to all this or atleast minimize this by adopting a healthy diet, by remaining active and by regularly exercising. Don’t should be alcohol consumption, smoking and gorging on food.

Thereby all this will reduce the pressure on the National Health Sector (NHS) and help the government.
