OBC Stir Media Creation: Ramadoss

Justifying the proposed 27 per cent OBC quota in Central educational institutions, Union Health Minister Ambumani Ramadoss today said that the anti-reservation agitation was a media creation // and that the government's decision was in accordance with the Constitution.

'The resistance was all by the media,' Ramadoss told newspersons here.

Stating that all political parties had supported the government proposal, he said 'This is in accordance with the Constitution.' Asked about the move to increase seats in general category while implementing the OBC quota, Ramadoss said 'The seats will be increased in a phased manner.'
