New Drugs Would Help Men to Play an Equal Role in Contraception

Scientists at Kings College, London have developed a new drug that might cease men from ejaculation during sex.//

The concept on which the drug is based on is that the contraction of the longitudinal muscle in the vas deferens is prevented, thus sperms are not propelled out of the penis.

This method of contraception is based on the control of schizophrenia and blood pressure, to which researchers claim have chemicals to block male sperms.

Presently, researchers are in the process of creating contraceptives for males in the form of implants, patches or injections which are hormone based and can send signals to the brain to switch off the production of hormones.

Tests are to be conducted on animals and humans by Researchers and they hope to have a positive result within five years.
