Mum's Death and Breastfeeding Behind Jolie's Appalling Weight Loss

Angelina Jolie has finally revealed the disheartening reasons behind her recent weight loss.

The actress, who has been constantly looking frail and emaciated in all her recent public appearances, admitted that she has become too thin.

The 'Tomb Raider' star revealed that her worrying weight loss is a result of stress following her mother's demise.

"I've always been lean and this year I lost my mom and I've gone through a lot," the Daily Mail quoted Jolie, as saying.

Jolie also launched an attack on people who failed to recognize her emotional trauma, and assumed that she starved herself to "fit into skinny jeans."

"I have four kids and I finished breastfeeding - it's been hard to get my nutrition back on track. Instead of people saying I look like a person dealing with something emotionally, they assume it's because I want to fit into skinny jeans," she said.

"Someone saying to me that I'm thin is not a compliment," she said.

Jolie is currently in the Czech Republic, where she is shooting her latest film, Wanted.
