( The vice president of Sandia National L...)Mexico and US border attain a new outlook due to BiNational Sustainability Laboratory,Health

The vice president of Sandia National Laboratories, Gerry Yonas was the first to visualize a need for laboratories in the Mexican border.

This led to the development of the BiNational Sustainability Laboratory (BNSL), which extends over an area of 4000 square feet at Santa Teresa. This will mainly augment the border security force and deal with terrorism // with the help from Canada & Mexico.

The monetary inputs for the lab come from USA, State of New Mexico and Mexico.

The main idea is to develop the troubled border (from gulf coast to the pacific) into a research centre.

This centre will also facilitate in the setting up of new profit making companies on both sides of the border. Apart from this other assignments like environmental & water technologies, petroleum processing technology & micromechanical systems.

US Economical Development Administration & Mexican National Council of Science and Technology invested $ 400000 each. State of New Mexico‘s Economic Development contributed $100000.

The Mexican National Council of Science and Technology spokesperson said that this project will be able to change the view about borders among many countries.

The project will work as a joint venture on developing border crossing sensor, crop development in arid regions thereby this will facilitate them to chare their cultures.

This would bring together researchers from both the government and private universities to work together. They can develop goods which can be marketed and help in making lives on both the sides secure and safe.

The duties of the Sherpa who escort the mountain climbers time and again without appreciation are compared to the duties of the BiNational Sustainability Laboratory (BNSL).
