Married Women has more sexual problems

Reports of a study reports that married women is having more trouble due to her sexual difficulties compared to married men or unmarried women and the report finds out that single men is more affected with sexual problems and dysfunction compared to married women. //

Catherine Mercer, of University College London's Center for Sexual Health and HIV, said. "That is, within a relationship, people who were less able to talk freely with their partner about sex appeared to have more problems with their sex life. This also suggests that sexual function is not always an individual's problems; it may be partnership-specific."

The study reports finds out that 54% of women and 35% of men reported sexual problems which lasted for at least a month and 16% women and 6% of men reported sexual problems which lasted for more than 6 months. On an average, the study recruits said they had sex about four times a month. Those who had sex less than that had more sexual problems, regardless of gender.

A questionnaire containing a battery of questions about the sexual interests and experience was asked in the study survey about their interests in having sex, feeling anxious about their performance, inability to climax, coming to a climax too quickly, experiencing physical pain during sex, men having trouble achieving an erection and women having trouble becoming lubricated. Respondents were asked if they had experienced any of these problems for at least one month during the previous year.

Men who drank more than the recommended weekly units of alcohol, or who had had a sexually transmitted infection within the previous five years, were also more likely to report problems with their sex lives.
