Singer/actress Mandy Moore admits that she doesn't mind when she is asked to shed few kilos for a flick .

The 23-year-old insisted that its part of her job and there is nothing to get offended by it, for it is not a 'personal thing'.

"It's not a personal thing, it's something that I have to do for my job: shape up a little bit," US Weekly quoted Moore, as saying.

The pop singer, who is currently on celeb trainer Harley Pasternak's 5-Factor Diet, that loosing a little weight is as normal as taking any other steps to change her looks.

"If I have to slim down now for a film, I don't mind. I just look at it like I'm just changing my hair or something. If that's what I have to do for the character, then that's what I have to do," she said.

Loosing a little weight is fine, but the actress makes sure that it does not affect her health.

"Being a young woman in this industry, there's enough pressure, it's hard enough as it is. I felt like, for this job, you sacrifice so much already that the last thing I want to do is make myself feel really horrible," she added.

Moore revealed that had she not been a celeb, she would have not taken extra efforts to have a toned body.

"Personally, if I weren't in the public eye, I would want someone in this position to just be normal because that's believable and that's acceptable and there's nothing wrong with it. This is how we're supposed to look," she said.
