MMR Triple Vaccine Caught In the Eye of a Storm

MMR Triple Vaccine has found prominence again, for the wrong reasons. Blaming the government of apathy over the MMR vaccine, Dr Peter Fletcher, who // held the post of Chief Scientific Officer at the Department of Health, has accused the government of not examining the risks of MMR triple vaccine adequately, despite a lurking fear of autism, as a probable side effect. According to him, if this doubt is proved, it could turn out to be the worst disgrace in medical history.

"Clinical and scientific data is steadily accumulating that the live measles virus in MMR can cause brain, gut and immune system damage in a subset of vulnerable children, and There's no one conclusive piece of scientific evidence, no 'smoking gun', because there very rarely is when adverse drug reactions are first suspected. When vaccine damage in very young children is involved, it is harder to prove the links”, Dr Fletcher said.

Dr Fletcher witnessed many drug safety trials, and thus had the opportunity to go through relevant documents, which according to him should be open for public consumption. In his opinion, there was enough evidence in those documents, from scientists across the world that suggests, the MMR shots may result in brain damage for some children. People of great power and fame in Britain and world over, having sworn safety for the MMR vaccine earlier , are now reluctant to retract lest they lose their power , dignity and glory.

Dr Fletcher’s initial concerns about MMR came about in 2001 when he voiced the inadequacy of its safety trials. His antenna is up again following the government’s announcement of introducing shots against pneumococcal meningitis for babies, from April next, obviously concerned about the safety of such a vaccine
