Publix Super markets Inc can now boast of enabling medical services by way of medical clinics, in addition to all and sundry items. This is a move by the Little Clinic LLC, a company that is in charge of medical clinics. //

The company has conveyed its intention to promote medical kiosks in publix super markets that will be staffed by nurse practitioners. An agreement to this effect has been signed by the company.

According to the latest news release, the agreement gives Little Clinic independent rights to install medical clinics within the Publix stores. Publix Super Markets Inc is merited as one of the largest grocery chain stores in the south east. Initially clinics are planned in Miami, Orlando and Tampa, slated to begin during early 2006, with Florida and south east, being their target for expansion plans. The clinics will be designed to function like kiosks located within the store premises and will sport a pharmacy as well. The clinics will cater to common ailments and minor injuries with treatment expenses at charges under 50$. These kiosks will function on all 7 days of the week, according to the release.
