KGMCTA Condemns False Report, Concerning Death of a Boy

The Kerala Government Medical College Teachers Association (KGMCTA) on Friday has staged a protest, condemning the report about the death // of a boy, Shyam, at the Medical College Hospital in Tiruvanathapuram. The report claimed that the death was caused due to the administration of wrong medicine.

According to the statement from the KGMCTA, Shyam, who was suffering from Steven Johnson Syndrome, was admitted to the hospital and was given steroids and other drugs that were needed to save his life.

The association has expressed deep regret at the false claim of wrong, medication, saying that this would deeply impact the morale of the doctors.
