KFC Targeted in Lawsuit

A Lawsuit that aims to eliminate the use of partially hydrogenated oil laden with trans fats has targeted Kentucky Fried Chicken //.

The Center for Science in the Public Interest filed the suit with the Superior Court of the District of Columbia, which demands that KFC either stop using partially hydrogenated oil or use signs to warn customers of the high trans-fat content in the food. 50,000 Americans usually succumb to death annually because of using partially hydrogenated oil.
