It is the old drinkers than binge drinkers who are at risk of ill health

A new study had pointed out that people who regularly drink large amount of alcohol are more at risk// of ill health and death from alcohol related causes than binge drinkers, who drink a lot of alcohol in one go.

The researcher for the study had said there had more than enough attention given to young alcohol consumers who drink a lot in the night, but not frequently. At the maximum, these people may be more at risk from violent assaults than any other health hazards. Media had often ignored the steady drinker in his middle or old age who have serious health problems from alcohol consumption. It is this age group the media attention needs to be focused to spread the word of caution about excess alcohol drinking and related health problems.

The researcher had found out that binge drinking often leads to noisy social interactions leading to violence and aggression. Rather than looking into the emotional psyche of these young drinkers, it is important for the authorities to place importance to the crimes that necessitate from these drunken brawls.
