A California based company has developed a pill called Excalia ,the latest magic potion to fight excess flab . The researchers working for this announced //the results of their tests at a conference sponsored by the North American Association for the Study of Obesity.

This organisation is one of the leading scientific research bodies that study obesity. They claim that this preparation can effectively help decrease body weight by almost 12 % in one year’s time if taken regularly for 48 weeks.

The pill excalia primes the hypothalamus, the region in the brain associated with appetite and weight gain , to keep a fast paced metabolic rate. The pill consists of two drugs that are commonly used to control obesity and eating disorders. There are fewer side effects owing to the well established safety of these fairly familiar drugs. It seems to boost a hormone levels that play a role in curbing excessive appetite as well.

With this combination of drugs in one pill the brain is not quick to switch over to an alternative pathway to make up for blocked appetite and thus a sustained weight loss can be achieved, opined Dr. Fujioka one of the researchers.. In another four years,this pill is expected to be introduced in markets in the UK.
