Indonesia: A 14 year old teenage boy is confirmed to be severely ill following a human infection of bird flu, and is presently undergoing treatment//, an Indonesian health official has confirmed.

This is the first human case of bird flu in 2007; with this, the total human infection of bird flu in the region is 75, out of which 57 did not survive the infection. The boy is being treated at the Persahabatan hospital and his condition is critical, the health official confirmed.
