Indian Prime Minister undergoes Minor Surgery in AIIMS

Dr. Manmohan Singh, Prime Minister of India underwent a Minor Surgical Procedure yesterday in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The procedure was done to ease the pressure on a nerve in the right wrist//. After successfully completing the operations the right hand was bandaged.

The doctors has advised the Prime Minister to take some rest and the right hand will be functioning as normal. The Prime Minister is expected to join office from Monday and by the meantime he will be working from his official residence.

Sanjaya Baru, media advisor to the Prime minister officially announced that, ‘The operation which was conducted in AIIMS was successful and the pressure on his right hand nerve was relieved, though his right hand will remain bandaged for a few days, the prime minister will be working normally,"

He said the prime minister had been advised "some rest" and it is believed that hopefully, he'll be back in office from Monday. In the meantime, he is working from home."
