Heat Spells Trouble in South Carolina

South Carolina is simmering in the wake of a strong summer, which is only getting worse due to elevated humidity levels. No respite for sometime, weather experts predict//. They have forecasted that all places south of Interstate 85 will be under the heat spell.

Though the temperatures are not as high as it was during the nineties, yet humidity levels have been rather high during this summer that has enhanced the discomfort. Heat related problems have already started cropping up, and the Lexington Medical Center reported that nearly four had approached them with heat-associated problems. There were also two cases of dehydration reported by the Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. Fortunately none of these cases have a taken a turn for the worse.

People are being their creative best with many tactics to beat the heat - A cool dip in the pool or staying indoors and avoiding the hotter times in the day. Many schools have risen to the occasion by altering playtimes for children so that they can escape the exhaustion and discomfort of extreme heat.
