A new lasercomb which promises hair growth in the scalp has been given the FDA nod. This device termed as Hairmax Lasercomb is manufactured by Lexington International LLC, a Florida based hair Accessories Company.//

This device makes use of low-level laser technology in a comb which when passed through the scalp triggers hair growth. This gadget can be used by both men and women. The company’s website reveals that they use laser diode which is working in the red region of the visible color spectrum.

The firm has brought out this useful device after conducting twenty six weeks of trial. According to the company sources, this device is already in the market as an online commodity being sold for $ 545.

The Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) has remained the interest of researchers for a long period of time and around 3500 scientific papers have been published on this. LLLT is advantageous as it has no contra indications, pain or toxicity associated with the procedure.
