Full time workers are less health conscious than part time workers,,

Full time employees may be less health conscious and may be spending less time daily in exercise than part time //workers.

New research suggests that working full time leads to a sedentary life style that may be harmful in the long term. People who work full time have less time for leisure, which is generally spend in watching television, play video games or sit in front of the computer. These seem to be the three most performed leisure activities for people who worked for eight hours or more.

Part time workers on the other hand are more health conscious as they engage in more activities that involve physical activities including playing outdoor games, walking, running or exercising. Study shows that more part time workers engage in rigorous physical exercises than those who did not.

The scientists of University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, did the study that had looked into the lifestyle of full time workers versus their part time counterparts. When asked to give reasons for not doing any exercise, people who worked full time said that they do not have any time to exercise. Researchers feel that the people who have a normal workday should be giving serious thoughts to changing their interests to bring more physical activities in their lifestyles.
