From Computers to Vaccines

Bill Gates who was on a visit to India met our Health Minister Anbumani Ramadoss on Tuesday and discussed about the development of vaccines against various fatal disease//.

Gates informed the press meet that they had discussed about many issues regarding the vaccine program and his contributions.

The vaccine program extends to various deadly diseases like Malaria Tuberculosis Hepatitis B.Plans to tackle viruses like Human Papilloma and Rota were also the other issues that were covered in the meet.

The techniques for the development of these vaccines and preventive measures against these diseases were also analyzed.

Gates association was previously funding for Global Alliance on Vaccines and Immunization and now he has extended it to 'Awahan' an Indian Organization whose sole aim is to create AIDS awareness and help in the prevention and spread of the disease.

The health Minister spoke to the press about Gates undivided interest in developing vaccines and also developing microbicide (use of beneficial/harmless microbes to kill the other harmful microbes) against HIV/AIDS.
