Firms Told To Employ Those With Asperger's Syndrome

Business organizations in Scotland are being encouraged to employ people with Asperger's Syndrome, who suffer from difficulties while relating and communicating with others. Scotland has a total of 50,000 people who suffer from this disorder, which is a barrier to them getting gainful employment. //People who suffer from the Asperger's Syndrome have difficulty in getting through an interview.

Even though the intelligence of those who suffer from this condition cannot be questioned, their social skills are less developed, resulting in their ability to interact with other people being limited. They also have problems with interpreting questions. It is a communication disorder which is lifelong. Only 10% of the people with this disorder manage to get full-time employment.

There are also many instances of such people being able to lead perfectly normal lives. The business houses should also understand that those who suffer from Asperger's will not hold back the company from developing itself further, as they are very methodical and highly motivated by nature.
