Fight arthritic pain with acupuncture

Arthritic pain is one of the worst types of chronic pain. Many people are immobilized and crippled because of this painful condition. But now there’s good news for the long-suffering arthritic patients.

Acupuncture, which is one of the most popular forms of alternative medicine, is supposed to have magical cures for those suffering from arthritis.

A team led by Dr. Jeanette Ezzo, Washington, DC, and colleagues conducted a study and research on the beneficial effects of acupuncture.

Acupuncture was first practiced in China more than 2,000 years ago. According to traditional theory, the human body has thousands of acupuncture points along pathways called meridians. And these pathways conduct energy throughout the body. Acupuncture is believed to keep this energy flow moving smoothly.

According to the Arthritis Foundation in Atlanta, there is enough evidence to suggest acupuncture relieves pain for some arthritis sufferers. It has proven least effective against immune system-related arthritic conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis.

So if you suffer from arthritis, get ready for acupuncture!!
