Researchers have found that the fear of death before voting had an impact on their voting decision. Reports from the Analyses of Social Issues and Public policy reports that the fear of death// had an impact on the 2004 presidential election in US. Researchers felt that the fear of death caused by Osama bin laden tape before the election had an impact on the psychological state of the voters which made them vote in favor George W. Bush, which made him win over Senator Kerry. Researchers found that the people voted with their hearts and not used their brain as they were under psychological stress of fear.
