FDA warns against the use of products that claim to treat erectile dysfunction

The U.S Food and Drug administration has issued a warning to consumers to stay away from products touted as succors for sexual problems, allegedly capable of enhancing// the sexual experience. According to the FDA, these products contain many harmful elements, which may trigger a host of health complications.

The harmful products doing the rounds are Zimaxx, Libidus, Neophase, Nasutra, Vigor-25, Actra-Rx and 4EVERON.

FDA has cautioned consumers, even senior citizens, who are already on these products to discontinue consumption and seek the advice of a medical specialist. Dr. Steven Galson, Director of FDA's Center for Drug Evaluation and Research said, "These products threaten the public health because they contain undeclared chemicals that are similar or identical to the active ingredients used in several FDA-approved prescription drug products. This risk is even more serious because consumers may not know that these ingredients can interact with medications and dangerously lower their blood pressure."
