The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has updated the product labels for three widely known asthma drugs, which will now carry the warnings that the drugs may enhance // the risk of suffering a severe asthma attack that could also turn fatal.

The drugs that now carry the updated product labels will be the powerful bronchodilator medicines Advair and Serevent, made by GlaxoSmithKline Plc and Foradil from Novartis AG .The FDA has further advised that these inhaled drugs should only be used after other types of inhaled drugs like corticosteroids, have failed to alleviate the asthma attack.
