Dead Chickens: Is It Bird Flu or Heat Stoke?

In Bangalore about thousand chickens were found dead outside a shop in a lorry in the Shivaji Nagar market. The birds were transported to Hosur and the lorry had a flat tyre this delayed the journey by five hours. //The shopkeeper M Prabhakar claims that the scorching heat led to the death of the birds. But for the residents of the city were not ready to accept it and this sparked the fear of the return of bird flu in the city. As of now the residents were slowly getting back to the chicken diet.

But due to this incident the chicken sale had gone down again. Most people have once again started avoiding chicken and this has badly affected business for chicken shop owners. The residents started returning the chickens that they had bought earlier. The Animal Husbandry Ministry has sent the samples of the dead birds to a lab in Bhopal to determine the exact cause of death. But the state Health Ministry however assured the residents of Bangalore not panic and insists that this is not a case of bird flu.
