College Student Commits Suicide After Failing In HSC Exams

Frustrated over his unsuccessful attempt to clear the Higher Secondary Examination, a student in Ambarnath town of neighbouring Thane district today allegedly committed suicide by jumping in front of the Pune-bound fast Deccan Queen train, police said. //

Vaibhav Dinesh Murbadkar, studying in a junior college, was shocked to hear the results declared today as he failed in two subjects, police said.

He called up his neighbours and said he would not return home as he had failed in two papers. Later, he threw himself on the railway tracks when the fast Deccan Queen was passing by, they said.

He was declared dead on arrival at a railway hospital, police added.
