Cocaine Kates Lover Wants to Kick his Drug Habit

Troubled rocker Pete Doherty says he will have to beat his drug addiction if he wants to get back girlfriend Kate Moss. In September this year 31 year super model Kate Moss // was who I worth $ 30 million was caught snorting cocaine by The Daily Mirror newspaper in a drugs and drink session with her lover Pete Doherty. She had earlier in her press releases denied that she had ever used drugs.

Post revelation she lost many prestigious contracts and went on a five-month rehabilitation centre course at Arizona's Meadow Clinic. She even paid for Doherty to join the programme but he quit. In a public statement she had said: "I want to apologise to all of the people I have let down because of my behaviour, which has reflected badly on my family, friends, co-workers, business associates and others."

During her rehabitation Kate had turned to poetry that she would recite to Pete on the phone. One verse reads: "What matters is what is underneath. A friend of the Kate told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "She's found writing her thoughts down in verse very calming. Her friends and family are pleased she has had something to focus on while she recovers"

According to ananova.com, Doherty told an interviewer: "While my life revolves around drugs I can't have her in my life. It's as simple as that."

Earlier in the month Pete had said that Moss dumped him because "I can't buy her diamonds".
