City Surgeon Appointed Adviser To Armed Forces

A city doctor, Dr.S.Raja Sabapathy, has been appointed honorary consultant and adviser to the Armed Forces (Defence) Medical Services in speciality of plastic, hand and reconstructive micro surgery. //

Sabapathy, Director and Head of the Department of surgery in Ganga Medical Centre and Hospitals, would give free consultation and perform major operations to members of armed forces across the country, an hospital release said today.

When contacted, Air Force Administrative College sources, here confirmed the appointment and said that a specially made plaque and order had been handed over to Sabapathy by the Air Marshal, H S Garkal, Air-Officer-incharge, Administration, Delhi, recently at a function here.
