Chinese Food- a Global Risk?

in Hong Kong.

The problems of the Chinese government are multitude. In order to increase the yield the farmers use all kinds of pesticides and chemical fertilizers. Harmful antibiotic are used to control diseases in livestock’s and sea food. The wide spread industrial pollution too adds to the food chain. The Authority finds it difficult to regulate the farming sector as the properties are quite small.

Now the exports from China are being rejected at the rate of 200 per month which is quite a big figure compared to other countries. Thus putting a great set back to the Chinese exports. Mainly due to incomplete or wrong labeling and contamination of the food with pesticides and harmful chemicals
