Cathine leads to mental health disorder,,

Cathine a chemical found in a herb called Khat has been linked to an increase in suicide among people who use it. Khat is an African shrub whose leaves remain potent only for a few days after picking.//It has several side effects which include appetite suppression, insomnia and anxiety.

Its leaves are packed with the chemical cathine and have a similar effect to amphetamines when chewed. They say the drug, which is banned in the US and most other European countries, is causing massive mental health problems among their young men.
