Cardiovascular Disease – Beware of This Lethal Kille

Cardiovascular disease (CVD) left an indelible impact on the lives of many in 2004 and nearly one-third of all //deaths resulted due the disease.

The most recent data enabled by the AMA has shown that Mississippi portrayed the highest fatality rate due to CVD, at 406 deaths per 100,000 people. Minnesota portrayed the lowest death rate from CVD, about 221 deaths per 100,000 people.

The statistics also pointed out that since 1900, heart disease has been a killer, with the exception of the1918 flu outbreak. The number of cardiovascular deaths is a clear indication of the burden on the healthcare system, and the increase in the numbers of people with CVD is a matter of grave concern.
