Canada proudly showcases state-of-the-art Public Hospital in Ottawa

It was a moment of pride of people of the Ottawa region when the classy gleaming state-of-the-art Royal Ottawa Mental Health Centre which offers// psychiatric care and research facility was openedThe $132 million, 400,000-square-foot facility puts 188 inpatient beds to public last week. This hospital prides in being the first public hospital to be entirely financed and maintained by the private sector. The $132 million, 400,000-square-foot hospital can accommodate upto 188 in-patients requiring psychiatric care replaces the previous Royal Ottawa Hospital which was almost 100 years old.

The government of Ontario has been commended for bringing this mammoth project to completion and also for their commitment to the families of people in Eastern Ontario who need mental health care. The entire hospital is designed with wireless information technology the first of its kind across Canada would be a break through in delivering the very best of health care right upto the bed side of the patients.

Well light and spacious it offers renewed hope to psychiatric patients with the most modern research facilities teamed up here to help those in need of a breakthrough in mental health.Research at the hospital is aimed at unearthing genetic reasons that are linked with onset of mental illness and also the study of all related medical conditions that are entwined with psychiatric disorders.
