Bihar Government Dismissed Doctors For Negligence

Seven doctors were dismissed by the Bihar government on Wednesday for neglecting their duties according to official sources.//

The Chief Minister of Bihar Mr. Nitish Kumar gave the nod for the dismissal of the doctors from service, which was carried out with immediate effect.

Last week, the government dismissed three medical officers and initiated departmental proceedings against 16 doctors for neglecting duties.

Sources in the state health department said the government plans to take stern action against dozens of doctors against whom the district magistrates have submitted complaints.
