Big Brother Star Pete Burns, Checks Into a Mental Health Clinic

The 80’s Pop star, Pete Burns, following complaints of "sleep deprivation and exhaustion", has got him admitted into the St Charles Mental Health Unit//.

Burns, who is 46, had been residing at the Posh Hempel Hotel in West London that costs an expensive pounds 450-a-night. There has been gossip doing the rounds that police had to intervene after the hotel bosses locked the star out of his room for not paying his bill, a whopping pounds10,000.

According to a friend’s comment, Pete had been on a splurging spree, with too much excitement and elevated stress levels that had left him severely sleep deprived.

In the words of a Burns' spokesman, "Life has been very stressful for Pete since leaving the BB house. He is now going through the final stages of his divorce proceedings from wife Lynne. The divorce means he must sell off his beloved home in Notting Hill and this has all proved extremely stressful for him. The media demands and renewed interest in his life has had a difficult effect on Pete. But we don't anticipate he will be at the St Charles hospital for very long. He just really needs some proper rest and attention."
