Bail Granted To The Doctor Despite Her Patient's Death

In London a general practitioner (GP) was arrested after the death of her patient.

Dr Shanta Dhar a GP practicing in London was arrested last Friday and was released on bail. //

She had been treating Joan Board, 78, from Enfield, north London. Dr Dhar was arrested and was charged for manslaughter, malfeasance and depraving the course of justice.

Her patient Mrs. Board died on December 2nd at her residence after suffering a massive heart attack.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman also said that a 70-year-old woman was also arrested on 13 January in connection with the death of Mrs. Board.

The London ambulance service and her family member were skeptical about the death of Mrs. Board and her treatment with the coroner.

The London ambulance service spokesperson said that paramedics tried their level best to resuscitate Mrs. Board at her residence and n the way to the hospital but their efforts were futile.
